Pennsylvania State Park Engagement Photos
I love the outdoors (like with all of my heart), so I was so excited when Madeline and Marriah shared that they wanted to do a camping engagement session at Reeds Gap State Park, one of the many amazing Pennsylvania State Parks. My mind instantly started thinking about all of the photo opportunities like, hiking, photos at a campfire, in a hammock, in a tent, making s’mores, the list seemed endless and so much fun!
I have to say, I feel like we captured it all! The two of them arrived early, set up their tent, and then we met by a stream in the middle of the park, and started taking photos. We explored the stream, hiked through some beautiful Pennsylvania woods, and then headed back to camp. At camp, they toasted champagne with these cute personalized camper mugs, made S’mores, snuggled in their hammock (which was the cutest thing ever), and ended the session tucked in their tent right at dusk. It was pure magic.
When planning your engagement session, think about places or activities that bring you joy as a couple, and try to incorporate them. Try Brainstorming locations that are important to you, or are a place you have always wanted to explore together. The more the shoot reflects you and your relationship, the more authentic it will look, plus it will be more fun! Pennsylvania State parks offer a wide variety of scenery, and are the perfect place to explore during your engagement session.
