Tellus 360 Lancaster, PA
I have said it before, but engagement shoots are kind of my favorite thing. Not only do you get time to really craft some amazing photos, you get to explore locations that are important to the couple.
This Lancaster City Session was one of the most fun sessions ever. When I asked this couple if they had any ideas for their engagement session, they said they loved to party and that they loved Lancaster, and they wanted to combine those two things for a sort of engagement session bar crawl. I was instantly all in. Like, what an amazing idea!
We started at Max’s Eatery for some Boozey Milkshakes (when life gives you milkshakes, add booze. Lol), and then strolled around Market Alley, and finally headed to Tellus 360 to tour every bar that they have. Haha! We went to the Speakeasy first, which was dark and moody, and had this amazing wall of vintage vinyl records. We played a few tunes on the piano, and headed to the whiskey bar on the next floor. A couple drinks and a lot of laughs later we ended up on the rooftop, which was full of light and bright colors. It was glorious!
This shoot is proof that when planning your engagement shoot, you should do you. Be yourself, and choose locations that reflect that, and don’t be afraid to start at a place that serves boozy milkshakes.
