Mia and Bryan’s Epic Pennsylvania Campground Wedding

December 3, 2019

Ever wish you could go back to Summer Camp? Do you have fond memories of sleeping in cabins, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends? Well Mia and Bryan decided to give their guests the chance to relive that summer camp experience, by renting out a campground for the weekend, and having an epic Pennsylvania Campground Wedding.

What Makes Camp Conrad Weiser the Perfect Wedding Venue

Set on 600 acres of lush woodlands, Camp Conrad Weiser has so many beautiful places to explore. It has 24 identical cabins to house all of your guests for the weekend, and a Lodge and kitchen for all of your meals. There are also tons of activities for you and your guests to enjoy.

Summer Camp Activities for Their Wedding Guests

Their wedding day festivities started with archery, rock climbing, and zip lining. Like, whose wedding has zip lining?!? How fun! They each got ready in adjacent cabins, and then did the cutest most casual first look before we started taking group photos.

Intimate Ceremony Under the Trees

Mia and Bryan exchanged vows at the Camp Conrad Weiser Chapel Amphitheater surrounded by their families and nature. Bryan’s cousin Maggie was the officiant, and she shared some funny and touching stories about Mia and Bryan’s love story. You could see it in the couples eyes, that they were so excited to marry one another.

Campground Wedding Decor

I think one of the most fun things about a Summer Camp Wedding, beyond getting to spend the entire weekend with your friends and family, is all of the camper details you can create for your day. Mia and Bryan printed branded banners, pennants, t-shirts, and even their own version of a National Park Sign. This decor added a blend of nostalgia and vibrance to the day. No matter which direction you looked, you knew the weekend was going to be jam packed with fun.

Campground Lodge Reception

After the ceremony and cocktail hour, everyone made there way into the Lodge for the reception. There were toasts, food, and cake. After dinner the couple changed into chill party clothing, and danced the night away. They also partook in the grooms’s aunts famous “mouth margaritas” where she basically poured tequila and mixer into peoples mouths, and had them swish it around and swallow it. It was hysterical to witness. At one point it started pouring, but that didn’t stop the party. Nothing could. The entire day was such a blast.
