When you are talking to a couple about their Adventure Session, and they ask “How adventurous are you feeling? Would you be interested in an overnight backpacking trip with some elevation”, you know you have found your dream couple.
Anissa and Shannon got married last year. They had their elopement at the peak of a mountain they had just climbed, and although their day sounded magical, they only had some iphone photos that their witnesses took to document it. This shoot gave us a chance to try to make some beautiful images that truly captured their love for one another….because they really have a special love.
So on a Friday afternoon, we drove out of Seattle, Washington, climbed to the top of the Evergreen Mountain Lookout, ate some leftover Indian food, slept under the stars, and then woke up to the most amazing sunrise. Can I please photograph at sunrise always?!?
So pretty! One of my favorite parts of Washington is those rolling clouds. Caught them perfectly!
Oh my gosh, those views and clouds are to die for!!! I am sure this couple will hold this dear to their heart forever!
Wow! That sunrise is so beautiful. This is such a beautiful spot, I need to visit it soon.
These are absolutely gorgeous! What a fantastic hike, and photos to celebrate their commitment. Well done!
Those views are absolutely gorgeous! Sounds like you hit the jackpot with these two! So sweet ♥️
Those clouds though – wow!! These two are so sweet and you captured their love and emotion so well!
Wow, wow, wow. This fog is just incredible. I’m with you! If I only photographed adventure sessions at sunrise for the rest of my life i’d be content!
These are just beautiful! I love a sunrise session and you nailed this one!
Wow, that fog resting just under the rising sun is absolutely stunning. I bet they’re SUPER glad they woke up so early after seeing the results!
Above the clouds?!?! Are you even kidding me?!?!?! This session looks so fun! The couple looks like they are a blast!!! ! Every moment is captured in such a candid romantic way…. LOVE.
OH MY GOSH! Those clouds and then that light at the end. Holy cow. This is freaking incredible!
